RUCI was launched in the UK at the Food and Drink Expo 2016, which took place at the NCE in Birmingham from the 18th – 20th of April 2016. The response from the show was overwhelmingly positive and charmed of some of the most senior members of the organizing committee, fine food resellers, exhibitors and consumers alike.
The tasting station was the busiest corner, where visitors had a chance to to take in the aromas of our rich curry pastes and taste a selections of our chutneys and sambols. It was refreshing to hear their views on how unique the range of products were and how well it stood out from the competition in terms of taste and packaging; from the logo to the layout.
The humble Green Coconut Sambol stole the top spot in taste tests with every visitor exclaiming their delight. The flavour of the fresh green chilli coupled with the grounding texture of the shredded coconut thrilled the taste buds of masses, warranting this well deserved blurb.
