The traditional way to make curry is to first make a paste by crushing together the fresh herbs and dried spices by hand using stone grinders. One curry paste doesn't fit all! The selection of herbs and spices is matched to the taste and health properties of the key ingredient and made into a unique blend.
Curry powders were introduced by the British colonisers as a convenient way to store the blends and became popular to save preparation time.
We have gone back to the traditional method and have crafted our spice blends to offer the best of both - the tradition with convenience.
